The L.I.F.E. Project - The L.I.F.E. Project (Signed Vinyl LP)
Hand signed and numbered.
After a two-year run on the road completing Stone Sour's Hydrograd cycle, longtime Stone Sour guitarist Josh Rand returned to songwriting with clear intent: breaking new ground and exploring new sounds. With Corey Taylor pursuing a solo effort, Stone Sour on indefinite hiatus and the world brought to a halt by the pandemic, Rand built a brand new outlet around his own stylistic signature, teaming up with Paralandra frontwoman Casandra Carson, whose vocal warmth and range set her apart in aggressive rock.
Written, arranged, recorded and produced entirely by Rand, The L.I.F.E. Project is a five-track EP that blends classic metal sensibility with contemporary heavy, from the cinematic, piano-led ballad 'Worthwhile' to the sledgehammer 'A World On Fire', with Carson's vocals soaring on 'The Nothingness', 'Purgatory' and 'Ignite'.
